Few weeks ago, my fiancé and I were invited to attend a special documentary film about the Jordanian news reporter Tariq Ayyoub who has been martyred during the US occupation to Iraq last year.
The film focuses on the social part of his life, and it includes several testimonies stated by his workmates @ AlJazeera and other TV stations; who expressed how his professionalism has inspired them to be free soldiers of nothing but the truth, whatever the price is.
The director of the film, Suhaib Abu-Doleh, was creative in interviewing his father, mother, and wife. He highlighted their reaction on his decision to move to Iraq and join the media team who wanted to expose the inhuman, unethical, US occupation to Iraq to the whole world.
Ayyoub's relation with his wife was extra-nice, he used to make her special surprising things from time to time, to break the routine of their life and compensate his absence during war days. He made her feel his love and passion even when he is thousands kilometers far away; he was very romantic and she was very understanding wife as well.
He does like his daughter Fatima and wanted her to be proud of her parents wherever she goes. I'm sure Fatima will follow up on the mission of her father and let the world know who killed my daddy? and why?
Special greetings to my friend Suhaib, the director of this film, and hope we'll see more of his creative video productions soon.

His relationship with his family was something we all admired. After his tragic death at the hands of US weaponry and then the kidnapping of former JT reporter Jill Carroll ... it is all just such a tragedy. I do expect to see Fatima behind a microphone as well one day. Rest in peace dear Tariq. On May, 20, 2006 9:06 AM , Khawaja M. from Jordan

said:You can say that i know Fatimah well because her mother mrs. Deema Tahboob was my english teacher for teo years !! . She loved to talk about her husband proudly , she used to say that he was the person who made her strong and she really was ! she'de never known what sadeness meant !! she was one of the greatest teachers we've ever met . When I went to her house after mr. Tariq's death I thought that after what happened she'de never be the person I knew . I can't tell you how much did he inspire her but I was wrong !! she was stronger and happier because her husband reached his goal ! He lived and died for the truth ! .
